If we tend to imagine the Vikings as an unkempt lot, many of the Viking finds contradict our preconceptions.  The Vikings produced elaborate earpicks, for example, made out of bone, bronze or even silver!  Set the scene of a Viking back from a long sea journey being groomed.  Tell us about what is wild about him and how it is tamed again.
